I am a Witness who has discovered the TTATT. I don't have a Yahoo account, and it's not something that I ever use anyway. But I'd dearly love to ask SB22 a question, one which might make her think about her pompous attitude to anyone who dares question what we're told to believe.

Why do Jehovah's Witnesses interpret Romans 6:7 to say that a person's own death wipes out their sins?
he suggests that just as elders are given a package for fighting court custody cases (what to say do bring etc).
those facing a jc should have a package for dealing with a situation where the elduhs want to "talk with you.".
hows about we start to make one?.
Just do what King David did - act as if you are really mentally distressed (diseased?) and make it clear that you are in no fit state to go through any kind of inquisition just now.

If I knew then what I know now, I would never have written a question to the Branch about a blatantly wrong teaching which was "based" on a corrupt interpretation of a Scripture. The fact of the matter is, that I am probably 'marked' as a potential apostate. ©
So anytime in the future, if it suddenly takes their fancy, the 'men in black' elders could come and demand of me an answer as to whether I 'still feel the same way'.
Since thinking something different from what the Org teaches merits disfellowshipping, they'd have me!
Therefore I'm prepared just to say that "I'm just leaving everything to Jehovah, carrying on with my Christian life as best I can, and don't want to talk to anyone except my God about things of a personal concern - thanks for your concern, though!"

we use to be great friends, religion was never an issue and we could be on the phone hours on end.
she always told me how much of a good friend i was but when she brought up religion and told her i didn't believe that way and that "i hope that doesn't get in the way of are friendship.

Try to use the Bible to get her to reason.
Ask her why Rutherford decided to capitalise on the generally accepted Divine name of God, instead of retaining the God-given name of 'Christians'? (Acts 11:26)
You can then ask her to read the following Scriptures to prove to herself that she is Witnessing for Christ!!
You could also mention to her the change in the Org's letterhead in recent years to "Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses".

in my area, i am labeled an 'active apostate', among other things i am sure.
i live in a very small town, and bump into elders who hate me beyond words.

People will have different but very sound opinions to yours, but I agree with you.
I am still in, but over the past 4 years have come to know TTATT. I refuse to accept "privileges", thereby keeping out of the controlling grasp of those who wish to turn me into a "company man".
I also try to "plant seeds" with my answers - usually by including Scriptures which have been excluded from the item under discussion.
Many months ago, I was discussing with my sister the subject of the WTBTS finances being in trouble. Having spoken to her before about such things as membership of the U.N. and attending OSCE seminars, this was the last straw for her - she slammed the 'phone down on me!
I haven't bothered her & her elder husband since, and she hasn't resumed contact either. The view I take is this; I ain't gonna impose myself on someone who has made it clear they want to avoid me. I have a life to live - and I won't sit around moping because someone doesn't have/want the truth to change their thinking and beliefs.
perhaps i am overthinking this.......but i may have come to the conclusion that the gb's refusal to address and explain in detail all of the changes mentioned at the 2012 annual meeting is in and of itself.....their final explanation.
from what i have gathered by speaking discreetly with those that are still "in" but on the fringe.......the information given at the 2012 meeting meant practically nothing to most jws.
in fact.....most are still completely unaware of the changes.
Along the same lines, "New Scrolls" were invented and inserted into the Witness psyche worldwide, via the Watchtower June 15th 1985, p. 18. par. 21.
In 27 years, these ""new scrolls were only mentioned 4 times in total in all the literature.
Probably unnoticed by more than 7 million Witnesses, the Watchtower September 1st 2012, p.16 dropped the word "new" and said this, " The resurrected ones will be judged, not on the basis of what they did before they died, but on what they do when the contents of the “scrolls” mentioned in Revelation chapter 20 are revealed."
No 'new' scrolls anymore - but they continue with the lie that the scrolls are opened during the 1000 year reign - instead of after Satan is destroyed!
